TRAINER’S CHOICE:

Every Saturday at 10am a different trainer leads this specialty class with a theme of his or her choice. This is an opportunity to try something new and keep your routine fresh. These classes will usually be more heavily strength or cardio oriented, or focus more on specific equipment (i.e. battle ropes, kettlebell, TRX, sandbags, kickboxing, etc.). The format of Trainer’s Choice is that of a traditional group class (1 hr) and does not follow our Flex Session format.

WOMEN’S BARBELL CLUB:

Cypress Fitness’s Women’s Barbell Club is designed to provide a structured, self-paced yet challenging platform for learning and growing the big three lifts (squat, bench press, and deadlift) as well as other intermediate and advanced lifts. This class is designed as space for women – defined broadly and inclusively – to use the experience of building strength as a way of building community and taking space in the world. We require pre-requisite fundamentals sessions prior to joining the weekly group class (Sundays @ 11am). The number of pre-requisite sessions required will depend on your training background and experience, though typically it is between 1-3 sessions. The fundamentals sessions are one-on-one and are offered at a reduced personal training rate of $37.50 each.

KETTLEBELL CLUB:

Every Wednesday @ 6pm

Kettlebell Club focuses on the three main Kettlebell Sport lifts, snatch, jerk, and long cycle (clean and jerk) with a variety of supplementary exercises such as plyometric movements, deadlifts, squats, presses, breath work, and plenty of trunk strengthening and stability work. Improve your total body and mental fitness by setting challenging yet achievable monthly goals. Completion of a fundamentals course is required to participate but is integrated into the class. If new to Kettlebell Sport, sign up and chat with Emily at your first class! All are encouraged to attend! Open to everyone.

About Kettlebell Sport: Kettlebell Sport combines physical and mental toughness with physical and mental patience and space. As one of the only sports that includes the unlikely duo of strength and endurance, Kettlebell Sport is, by nature, a full body (and brain!) workout!

Examples of monthly goals are: higher-rep endurance training, lower-rep strength training, timed sets, and overhead mobility and stability.

YOGA:

Mondays @ 6pm
