Personal Trainer / Yoga Teacher

Born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela, I have a deep love for cultures and languages. For the past seven years, I have been following a plant-based diet and I have never felt stronger. I am also an Engineer and I have more than fourteen years of experience working as a Maintenance Manager for American companies in Latin American countries including Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela.

I had a passion for fitness my whole life but it was in my late 20s that I started to practice “Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu” with my brother. To work on my endurance and be more competitive, I decided to start running almost every day and practicing yoga two or three times a week. What began as a journey to help me build my strength from the inside out, beat asthma, and create my best self, rapidly transformed into a passion to help others. Six years ago, I traveled to Grass Valley, CA and got certified as a Sivananda Yoga Teacher. By that time, I had been a Group Fitness Instructor teaching a class every day in my hometown for over a year. Following my true calling, once I moved to the United States I got Certified as an ACE Personal Trainer and a year later as an ACE Senior Specialist. I love being involved in my community. I ran a Community Yoga Class for over a year at Algiers Point. For the past five years, I have been serving as an Assistance Coach and Mentor for Youth Run NOLA. Currently, I am studying to become an ACE Youth Fitness Specialist and I am ready to start serving as a Board Member for Youth Run NOLA. I also love to help build houses with a non-profit organization in New Orleans called Uncommon Construction. You will find me most Tuesdays evenings running with the 504th crew all over the city. As a Personal Trainer, Yoga Teacher, Coach, and Mentor I love to say that I BUILD STRONGER HUMANS.
