Gym Info & Policies

General Information

We’re located inside the Landing Zone building at 625 Celeste St. We recommend scheduling a time to come in and talk about your fitness goals, tour the gym and ask us any questions to make sure we are good fit for you!

You will need a door code to enter the building which we will give you when we schedule your first visit.  We can be easily reached at cypressfitness[at]gmail[dot]com or text us at 504-484-9422.

Parking can be found on Celeste St. alongside the building. There is also a parking lot adjacent to the building (to the left if you are facing the building) near St. Thomas street. There is a black iron gate around the lot. Do not park behind the building to the right of our building (corner of Religious & Celeste) or on the grass triangle median in front of the building. This is not our property and they will tow. Most members park on the street or in the parking lot.

Please bring a water bottle and towel. We have a water fountain in the gym where you can fill your bottle. We also sell bottled water for $1 and Iconic protein drinks for $5.

There are shelves in the gym to store your things. There are also lockers in the bathroom you are welcome to use as well as a shower.

During Covid time we have a limit of 8 socially distanced zones to workout in so please remember you must reserve a space for group sessions using our Mindbody system. There is a Mindbody site (https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/ASP/adm/home.asp?studioid=23636) and you can also search for us on the Mindbody mobile app. PLease wear a mask and bring a towel as well.  For the greater good!

If you are using Open Gym re-rack all weights when finished.

Be respectful of our space and of your fellow members. If you sweat on equipment we have disinfectant spray and towels for you to wipe it down.

Don’t be afraid to contact us if you have pain or if you need modification for an exercise. Safety is priority one. Be patient with your training and focus on quality.  If you have any questions about the workouts, nutrition, rest & recovery, etc.  Office Hour sessions are a great opportunity for this too!
